Bio: Hello everyone my name is Sianna! As a 4th year at Davis, I definitely feel like there are countless things that I continue to love and learn. If it's not my classes or my wonderful professors, I feel that my experience in Davis has been enriching through friendships as well as keeping busy with club organizations on campus. Throughout my years of being active on campus, I have learned a lot about countless resources especially from mentors in guiding my interests in the pre-law track. By utilizing the tools and resources I have gathered, I aim to not only support students in the Washington Program but collaborate to make things better!

Why I Love My Role: I love my role as a Washington Program Peer Advisor because I get to aid students in an impactful way as I was when I participated in the UCDC Program in Summer of 2023. I felt not only like I had guidance in securing internship opportunities, but the peer advising staff helped me develop my own confidence in fostering my professionalism skills so that I can strive through the workforce in a manner that makes me feel not only qualified but where I belong. In my role as a peer advisor I wish to foster that confidence in our students as well.

Why I Love the Washington Program: I love the Washington program because it exposed me to a competitive workplace that motivated me to kick-start my networking and professional goals and skills. While I was In D.C., I met with many members of Congress that led to hold and attain valuable connections till this day which has motivated me to further pursue my interests in law. Not only that, but I feel that through this experience I gained multiple long lasting friendships!
