Annual Recruitments
Lead Student Manager
The Lead Student Manager is a primary point of contact for the Washington Program. This person is a student leader who will manage all other student employees and ensure the smooth operation of the program. The Lead Student Manager also works to improve the engagement of students in the Washington Program, the delivery of advising and student services, and enhancing the student experience.
Peer Advisors
Peer Advisors serve as liaisons between students and staff. They provide support to students as they navigate the Washington Program, including advising on academic and professional development opportunities. Peer Advisors also lead workshops and events, and assist with marketing and outreach efforts.
Communications and Social Media Manager
The Communications and Social Media Manager is responsible for managing the program's online presence. This includes developing and implementing social media campaigns, creating website content, and writing and disseminating program news. The Communications and Social Media Manager works to improve the engagement of students in the Washington Program, the delivery of advising and student services, and enhancing the student experience.
Ambassadors
Ambassadors are current or former Washington Program participants who serve as mentors to new students. They share their experiences and insights, and help new students adjust to life in Washington, D.C. Ambassadors also assist with program events and activities. Ambassadors are a part of the overall UCDC Ambassador Program and are paid a stipend after the completion of their assigned duties. This is not an hourly wage position.
