Position Title
Lead Student Manager
Major: Political Science (Minor in Communications)
UCDC Internship: Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC)
Bio: I am a 4th year from Los Angeles, and I participated in the program Fall '23. As the Lead Student Manager for the Washington Program, I hope to make students get excited for DC, and generate a lot more interest in the program in general. I am big on communication, so if you have any questions about literally anything, feel free to ask me via email or stop by the office!
Why I Love My Role: I fell in love with DC and the Washington Program almost immediately after moving in. I knew that I wanted to come back and work for the program and here I am! I love talking to people about the program, and take any chance I get to give the elevator pitch. I also love working on my management and communication skills, as I know they will help me in the future!
Why I Love the Washington Program: There is truly nothing like the Washington Program at UC Davis. When I heard about it, I thought it was too good to be true, but it is actually true! You can be in DC for a quarter with an internship and a class (depending on the quarter you're there), and you get to live with new people and experience a new city! I absolutely loved my time there and cannot wait to move back once I graduate.
