"I went to DC during winter quarter of 2009. I was able to go to President Obama's inauguration and be apart of a historical event in one of the most historical places in the country. Not only the inauguration, but my entire quarter in Washington was a once in a lifetime experience to say the least. I interned at the Washington DC Attorney General's Office for Criminal Prosecution. Being able to work alongside driven attorneys made me realize how important it is to pick a career that you are truly passionate about….being able to live in a place like DC, only a few blocks from the White House was something I will always appreciate and remember as the highlight of my college career.”Alexis Limon (Winter 2009 Alumni) with Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.
