I am a fourth-year Political Science major with a minor in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning. I participated in the Washington Program in Spring 2023 and interned on Capitol Hill for my Congressman, Jimmy Panetta. The opportunity to live and work in D.C. allowed me to grow as a person and provided me with an unforgettable experience, enhancing my resume and enabling me to discover my passions. Furthermore, the small cohort of students and staff that make up the Washington Program prepared me to meet lifelong friends, mentors, and professors. The Washington Program encourages me to pursue my dream of moving back to D.C. following graduation and working on The Hill as a legislative assistant with a focus on environmental policy. I am beyond excited to support fellow peers to ensure that their time in D.C. is filled with professional and personal growth. I look forward to meeting and working with prospective Washington Program students and participants!
