Financial Aid & Scholarships

Financial aid can be applied to the UC Davis Washington Program, and your award may be adjusted to cover additional costs such as airfare and housing. Even if you do not typically qualify for aid on campus, the increased cost of attendance in D.C. may make you eligible.

Financial Aid Process

  1. Complete the FAFSA/CADAA: File by the priority deadline in early March.
  2. Automatic Recalculation: Upon selection for the program, our office notifies Financial Aid. They recalculate your award based on the D.C. budget.
  3. Check MyAwards: View your updated offer in the MyAwards portal typically within 30 days of departure.

Summer Note: To receive financial aid in Summer, you must enroll in the UCDC internship course. Details on enrollment in summer internship units are provided to the cohort directly.

Financial Planning Checklist

  • Start Early: Begin financial planning as early as possible before your intended start date.
  • Apply for Scholarships: Submit applications by the listed deadlines.
  • Review MyBill: Make payments for any balance not covered by aid before the fee deadline.
